This took place at the West Country Quilt & Textile Show 2016 in Bristol.
Towards the end of the show our intrepid reporter – Faye – decided to dress herself from head to toe with a little help from the stallholders:
She started with a Fascinator from Janie Lashford School of Millinary.
Hats need to drop to the right – did you know that? or indeed why? and why is Faye now off in search of a man ?!
Faye then moves on to a dress from Sew La Di Da – (www.sewladidavintage.com) that actually fitted pretty well over the t-shirt and jeans!
Jewellery complimented the outfit from Janis Tabener – who specializes in square stitch and the collar Faye chose had a patchwork design of tumbling blocks – very apt don’t you think!
Moving on to needing a bag – and this was supplied by Sew Enchanting (www.sewenchanting.co.uk)
and finally a shawl supplied by Watercolours and Lace – (www.watercoloursandlace.co.uk) who are known for their hand-dyed knitting yarn, and are particularly fond of British Alpacca.
Didn’t she do well!!!!
