The full title of this book is ‘The Quilter’s Directory of Embellishment’ and Sally takes you through over 30 decorative techniques, from applique and embroidery to tassels and trims. Known for her excuisit crazy patchwork, many of these techniques can be used to embellish this style of quilts.
You can discover creative new ways to use everyday treasures and trinkets, such as charms buttons and beads as well as shells and produce stunning surface effects with couching, weaving and raised applique.
