Description
The kit includes all the fabric you will need to create the top of the quilt plus the pattern which is a mixture of stitchery and simple 9-patch patchwork blocks.
The stitchery patterns are of adorable little buildings taken from an imaginary village in Suffolk, Egland called ‘Elfin Patch’; some of the houses have a toadstool roof, others are thatched and some are round – there is also an Elfin Church.
The kit contains the background fabric – Essex Linen – and the other patchwork fabricsare pre-cut into strips ready for you to complete the top of this quilt (19"x28") – stitchery threads are not included The stitchery patterns have been designed by Doti Doodle who lives in Suffolk and who is a former art teacher.
The instructions in the pattern have been written by Karen Hellaby – owner of Quilters Haven and an author of patchwork books in her own right.
