Fun and easy to make and a great way of using up scraps of wadding.
Description
Gail has based these lovely little boxes – perfect for hiding a small gift or indeed an egg in – on Japanese folded patchwork which means you have both sides covered at once.
In this comprehensive workshop Gail talks you through how to make the cardboard templates; use up scraps of wadding; cut out the fabric – including a two fabric version – and a great tip on how to produce a perfect circle of fabric.
The pattern includes full size templates as well as instructions for the diddy little egg holder.
and if you like the idea of making some for Christmas, then click here for details of the Advent Calendar pattern. (these are apparently made by machine though)
