Barbara Weeks – Textile Artist and Tutor
Barbara shares not only her love of quilts and her design inspiration sources which she acquires on her travels, but also how to create your own painted silk fabric very simply in your kitchen. Also, you should ensure the rest of the family knows what’s cooking!
Barbara has had two solo exhibitions. Her work has been shown internationally, in touring productions and creating private and public commissions. View all her innovative and ingeniously creative designs here.
Barbara currently tutors City & Guilds Design and Craft courses in stitched textiles at Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire and Studio 39 in Hertfordshire and Athens, Greece. She teaches eight different workshops and often does short courses at Missenden Abbey.
