This beautiful scrappy garden quilt from Krista Hennebury is sure to cheer any home or porch swing.
This is a generous lap size instant download quilt pattern. It features a charming rainbow colourwash of leafy stalks which are topped by primitive, sweet blooms. The pattern includes full size templates for curved piecing. It also involves bias tape appliqué and “fabric sticker” appliqué by machine.
It’s a perfect quilt for using up scraps. You can also trade with friends or guild-mates! For a simpler option or a smaller project, you could make a one-stalk table runner featuring a bloom at either end.
Krista designed the pattern with permission from TraceyJQuilts, This was originally from a free tutorial for the sprout block. A portion of all pattern sales profit is donated to cancer research in Canada. This is in the spirit of this quilt design’s origin as a cancer relief quilt for our friends.
