We are a family of collectors. Not of fine art (though that would be nice too) but of the more mundane conkers, pebbles and fossils. My boys became collectors the moment they were able to fill their pockets. We have a vintage glass fronted cabinet in our hall filled to the brim with treasures- the boys call it the curiosity cabinet. So it was only a matter a time before our collecting became a book, this book ‘A Field Guide’ which is filled with quilts and cushions and little projects to stitch through the whole year.
