This is a five Friday month and we start off with a tour of Creative Quilting, the quilt shop just outside London  and in the shadow of the Hampton Court Palace in Surrey;   Isabelle shows us lots of lovely fabrics, threads, notions and her stunning Block of the Month quilt programme.

We also have a new demo using the embellishing/needlefelting machine showing its versatility (and if you want to have a go you could join us and Myfanwy Hart  at our weekend getaway 14-16 June 2013– more details in the classifieds).

Jennie will be demonstrating the Double Wedding Ring pattern, which she feels is made easier with the use of a special template designed for use with the rotary cutter and made by the E-Z company – its still a challenge though!

We cover simple stencilling onto your quilt with Dawn Cameron-Dick and Lynette Harris makes Folded Baubles for the tree.

There is an Ipad cover from Jennie and we meet Jo Bostock of the Embroiderer’s Guild with a series of Rainbow Squares that the Guild have had on tour around the UK.

Blocks 2, 3 and 4 of the series Your First Sample Quilt will be aired – so hopefully you will have time to keep up. (there is both a simple option and a variation to each block as well as some ideas on making the blocks into whole quilts)

The November Book of the Month is by Lynette Anderson entitled ‘Stitch it for Christmas’ – and there is still time!
