We spent a wonderful few days at the end of March at our Eversley retreat

Jennie taught Stripey Octagons  on the first day. The girls worked really hard to produce their projects – some working long into the night – but what a wonderful  variety from the one design.  Thanks Jennie for  your  hard work too on guiding them – who knew cutting, sewing and cutting again could be so much fun!

On the 2nd day, the theme was Tricky Triangles with Valerie –   Half-square triangles the Thangles way and the 8 pointed star which was made up in day-glow fabrics from Lewis & Irene was the inspiration. Rose decided to put her 8 pointed star into this delightful table topper which she managed to get finished.

A fun weekend for everyone, and look what Valerie got up to when Jennie was busy teaching – making a Jelly Roll Rug – inspired by a recent visit to Lady Sew and Sew!
