Come and enjoy a weekend of precut and layer cake fun in Hampshire where you will sew ONCE and make TWO different quilts at the same time.
Over the weekend you will be working with Sarah and Terry from Pauline’s Patchwork and you will have a choice of 3 quilts tops with different skill levels. For each of the designs on offer, you will sew enough to make a second quilt with a completely different design (but obviously the same colour range).
A ‘Brucie Bonus’, Sarah calls them.
A weekend retreat for £450 per person
Classes will take place in the hotel from 10 – 4 on Saturday and 10 – 4 on Sunday AND you can work until late, late, late on Saturday evening if you want.
Lunch and refreshments will be served both days, plus dinner Saturday and breakfast on Sunday
What’s included:
- 2 full days of classes with Sarah Soward and Terry Summerfield.
- All patterns used in the classes.
- 1 night accommodation at New Place Hotel with single occupancy unless you want to share.
- En-suite bathroom, tv, coffee and tea making facilities.
- Lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
- Dinner and Sunday breakfast served in the Manor House.

New Place Hotel, Hampshire
New Place Hotel will be our home for the weekend. Located in the Hampshire countryside and easily accessible from A3, M3, A31, M27, the hotel offers a perfect countryside setting, blending traditional and modern spaces over 32 acres of landscaped gardens. It is an ideal location for sewing retreats with modern teaching settings and accommodation and a restaurant in the Manor House. There is a Fitness Centre and pool and you are welcome to enjoy the use of its facilities during your stay; so you can use the gym or just relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet moment in the jacuzzi, the choice is yours! There is also free parking and free wifi. Indeed, New Place offers everything you need for the perfect weekend retreat.

If you pay in full by Credit Card, a £50 deposit is part of your payment and is non-refundable. If you pay in two stages (deposit & balance), your deposit of £50 is non-refundable.

Materials are not included in the cost of the retreat. If appropriate, a requirements list will be sent to you near to the date of your retreat.
You will be required to bring your own sewing machine unless specifically noted otherwise.
