Catching Up with Paula Doyle

Recycling fabric is the inspiration behind the latest creations from Paula Doyle. She shares ideas with you for her gorgeous square and sunflower ravioli quilts, that use Jeans, flannel as well as T-shirts to stunning effect. Then she takes the idea of recycling beyond quilts by using Itsy bits of jeans to produce fabric and turning them into biscuit cushions.  Watch Now+  

Make Boro Fabric with Paula Doyle

Then, in this workshop, Paula shows you in detail how to utilise left over scraps from her Blue Jean Ravioli quilts. She discusses a simple process, of using Bondaweb and a foundation cloth to produce a heavy weight fabric and secure the scraps with a triple stitch. This Boro effect is achieved with a regular machine thread and plenty of stitching.  Watch Now+
