Today, Janet shares with us a World Map pattern of the wall hanging that she has designed – in this case in the Weather permitting range – and which can be personalised with your own destinations. Janet calls this her ‘Newton’ world map because she says she has made the world flat again. This  stunning piece, using fusible appliqué and free-motion stitching, has been designed to be layer cake friendly so you can also sift through your stash to create the applique for your quilt!  Watch Now+

Fern Table Runner with Valerie Nesbitt

This is a lovely table runner and table mats project using the Fern Garden range of fabrics from Makower, and is designed by Lynne Goldsworthy..Valerie talks you through the pattern, which is a free download, and shares some useful tips – such as pay attention so that you get your printer to print at 100%.  She also shows you how to layer cut, safely using the paper templates, and flat headed pins.  Watch Now+

A weekend of inspiration

We had a wonderful textiling weekend at our Eversley retreat hotel with Jamie Malden of Colouricous this month.
