Val: A little ahead of expected the new films are up and running: Royal School of Needlwork, Festival of Quilts and more of the visit to Stitchfest - some really great stuff including a bit about our Jennie and her Marathon effort. Val: Congratulations to all the winners of the bundles of wonderful Oakshott fabrics who were chosen, completely at random, from those people who were subscribers on the site as at 30th September. Judging by the reactions everyone is eagerly awaiting the post (hopefull we'll be able to send everything out on Monday). You can see the list on the Features page, and you will see that our quilting community stretches all over the word and we hope to be able to offer more prizes in the future....

Ally Pally

Jennie: Valerie and I are up to eyeballs at Ally Pally - Alexandra Palace for those who don't know. It is the annual bunfight of the Knit and Stitch show and Valerie is manning the JHO stand and I have the most excellent task of runining five one-hour workshops - all different classes with 15 mins inbetween! Not only am I doing that but also cutting out kits etc for the workshops. Hotel bedroom is a mass of fabric and fluff and a tight squeeze as this must be the smallest room in London! Anyway...
